On Sunday 18th May we strapped Misha's harness on, picked up her best friend, Michel the Westie, and headed out for the RSPCA's Million Paws Walk.
Each year the RSPCA co-ordinate one of the biggest dog walks to raise much needed awareness and funds to fight animal cruelty. They estimate 20,000 people take part in the walks across Queensland to show support for animals in need.
This year the RSPCA raised over $142,767 to help those fur babies who are not so fortunate to have a loving family to take care of them.
The Million Paws Walk is not only a fantastic way to raise money, it's a great excuse to get some sunshine and exercise with your favourite four legged friends. If you want to learn more about these events check out our Community What's On page for the latest news and dates for the next event.
Hopefully we'll see you out and about next year!
